Barely a day goes by when artificial intelligence (AI) isn't hitting the headlines one way or another. It's coming for our jobs. It will make our jobs easier. It's smarter than mere humans. It's a glorified search engine. Suppliers are broadcasting their better-than-sliced-bread AI tool. Advisers are adopting it. Advisers are steering clear of it. And the Prime Minister has deemed AI the "defining opportunity of our generation" that will generate elusive economic growth. There's lots of contradiction, yet the chatter around this whole topic has certainly got louder over the past...
