Bringing up the topic of inheritance to clients can be tricky and it's no secret many are reluctant to talk about it. Clients spend so much of their working life ensuring they have enough money to last them through retirement, deciding where it might go once they pass on can be too much for some. According to the Financial Intermediary & Broker Association (FIBA), 66% of Brits have not discussed inheritance with their parents and 43% find it very awkward to talk about it.
