Just when you think the week is done, along comes another chancellor!

The appointment of MP Jeremy Hunt this afternoon to replace the sacked Kwasi Kwarteng means the UK has now had four chancellors in four months. It's not quite the blueprint for stability the Conservatives were hoping for and it's now not difficult to imagine the prime minister could be set for a similar fate to Kwarteng in the not-so-distant future. Away from politics, the biggest news this week has been findings from Coredata Research which showed advisers are scaling back their use of platforms. Daily usage plummeted from 71% last year to 55% in 2022 and only a third of those surveyed ...
