The reason the protection sector exists - because it can provide the coping strategies nothing else can - is a story worth telling but, says Peter Le Beau, it is one not told nearly enough

The history of awareness campaigns in the protection industry is not a long or distinguished one - in fact you could say it is almost non-existent. How much that matters to people may determine whether it is ever possible to change that situation.
