Honesty is really the best policy

The offshore life assurance industry is well regulated, professional and forward-looking. Not much disagreement there I suspect. Why then, if we have managed to create an industry that has a great deal to be proud about, do we still manage to attract the kind of criticism that is so often directed at the offshore world? To use a phrase from another context, do people still believe that there is something of the night about us?
