Legal & General (L&G) has told staff that it plans to reduce the size of the organisation by 10% – or about 1,000 roles – by mid-2027.
It is understood that the firm's asset management division will not be impacted by the job cuts, and that employees in the UK will be given the option of a voluntary redundancy at first.
