Former Verso Wealth Management associate directors Lydia Taft and Michael O’Neill have opened their own advice firm Next Step Financial Planning.

Based in Liverpool, the firm predominantly serves clients in the North West and is an appointed representative (AR) of Corbel Partners. Speaking to Professional Adviser, the pair said they wanted to create an advice firm that was completely "values-led". "We have worked for a number of different firms and we've watched how the industry's changed, in a lot of cases for the better," Taft said.
