Lockhart Capital Management receives PE minority investment

Will remain majority owned and controlled by employees

UK-based financial planning and wealth management firm Lockhart Capital Management has received a minority investment from private equity firm Northcote Equity.

The investment is designed to enable Lockhart to continue investing in its clients, people and technology while preserving the firm's independent culture and employee-led ownership model, the firm said. Founded in 2017, Lockhart manages more than £1bn of client assets on behalf of more than 400 families.  With offices in Cobham, Aberdeen, and Leeds, the firm provides advice and investment management to high-net-worth individuals and families.  Clients will continue to benefit from the same "highly personalised" service, Lockhart said.
