Snaps up North East advice firm Shaun Carr Financial Services

Foster Denovo has completed its first acquisition of 2026, building on its presence in the North East with the purchase of Shaun Carr Financial Services.

The national advice group has brought the business into its wealth management division, further expanding its Tyneside hub following its acquisition of Newcastle-based Wade Financial Services in 2023. The deal sees Shaun Carr join Foster Denovo as a senior partner, bringing £53m in assets under advice across 157 client households to the firm. He will continue to be based in North Shields.
