PE firm Stone Point Capital completes Amber River deal

Private equity firm Stone Point Capital has completed its investment deal in IFA Amber River.

The independent financial planning business confirmed the completion of its ‘partnership deal' today (21 July) but financial figures were not disclosed. Founding private equity investor Penta Capital remains on board as a key investor, the firm said. Amber River has 330 financial planners across its 13 regional hubs. It also operates in mortgage advice and financial management. The partnership deal, first announced in February, means Stone Point funds will provide capital and strategic support to Amber River to accelerate its growth plans.
