Prosper Capital liquidation triggers compensation claims process

Prosper Capital has entered creditors' voluntary liquidation, with the Financial Services Compensation Scheme now opening to claims relating to the activities of the firm's appointed representative, Crowd2Let Capital.

Investors linked to the firm's appointed representative Crowd2Let can now submit claims to the FSCS, although the compensation body said assessments will not begin until its investigation is complete. Alternative investment fund manager Prosper Capital, which became FCA-regulated in 2006, managed a range of property investments, enterprise investment schemes and other alternative investment funds.
