St James’s Place (SJP) partner practice Eight Financial Advice has acquired fellow partner practice Swann Financial, a financial planning firm based in Banbury.
Following the acquisition, Eight Financial Advice will have £4.5bn in assets under management, adding 15 advisers, 24 team members, and 4,107 clients. Swann Financial director Andrew Swann will remain with the business, along with the vast majority of the existing team. Swann initially worked in his family-run financial services practice for ten years. Following his father's retirement, he joined SJP Wealth Management with his two business partners, setting up Swann Financial in 2006.
