AJ Bell net inflows hit record £4.2bn as revenue grows 19%

AJ Bell platform assets under management increased 5% in the six months to 31 March, according to the firm's latest set of results.

The increase brought platform AUA to £108.7bn, driven by a record £4.2bn net inflows and £1.2bn in positive market movements – up from £3.3bn and £600m, respectively, in the same period last year. Customer numbers also experienced record growth – with 79,000 added – up 12%. AUM for AJ Bell's investment business also grew over the six-month period by 10% to £9.8bn. However, inflows were marginally lower than in the same period last year from around £700m to £600m.
