Launches Pennee and adds third-party DFMs to platform

Timeline has launched Pennee, an artificial intelligence assistant designed specifically for financial advisers, marking what the platform describes as a major shift in the future of regulated financial advice.

Pennee will be able to join client meetings to record and summarise conversations, automatically extract action points and vulnerabilities, and log upcoming appointments from advisers' diaries. It can also trigger follow‑up tasks such as sending risk profiling and fact-find documents, inviting clients to the portal, and flag client life events. Pennee can also analyse uploaded PDFs to produce first‑draft financial plans and generate client reports that reflect both the meeting discussion and portfolio analytics.
