IFA returns to market with fresh firm after consolidator sale

Financial adviser John Chadwick has returned to the financial advice space after selling his previous firm to a consolidator.

Chadwick sold his previous IFA firm, Chadwicks IFA, in November 2023 to a consolidator after 27 years at the helm. While running his original IFA firm he established Planned Future, a financial education company set up in 2014. When Chadwicks IFA was sold, he continued to run Planned Future. "We worked with the consolidator after the sale, but I don't think they fully understood or appreciated the scale of the opportunity," he told Professional Adviser.
