Team confirms WH Ireland acquisition creating £2bn wealth and asset manager

Team has confirmed its acquisition of WH Ireland in a deal which creates a wealth and asset management group with £2.1bn in assets under management/advice (AUMA).

The acquisition was backed by 61% of WH Ireland shareholders, Team said in a release today (27 November). The group will be headquartered in Jersey and serve private, intermediary, and institutional clients through discretionary investment management, financial planning and advisory services. Team said the enlarged group would benefit from broader client reach, complementary regulatory permissions, and greater operational efficiency, providing a "stable, independent alternative to larger consolidators in the UK and international wealth management sector".
