PortfolioMetrix names Alex Funk as CEO

Founder Brandon Zietsman now executive chair

PortfolioMetrix has promoted Alex Funk to CEO, who will start the position on 1 January.

Funk is currently chief investment officer (CIO) at the £5bn discretionary investment manager and will retain those responsibilities in his new leadership position. Funk also announced further changes to the global executive team, including that founder Brandon Zietsman is to move into the role of executive chair. Zietsman founded the business in 2010. Other appointments include Sharné Sanders as chief commercial officer, Oscar Reitsma as chief operating officer and Natalie Horton as chief financial officer.
