Fairstone names Steven Cooper as CEO

Succeeds Lee Hartley who is now deputy chair

Fairstone Group has appointed Steven Cooper as CEO, succeeding Lee Hartley.

Cooper will take up the position later this autumn, the consolidator set out in a press release today (16 September). Most recently, Cooper was group CEO at Aldermore Bank. He has held a variety of senior positions in banking both in the UK and abroad, including group CEO at private bank C. Hoare & Co, and having led several of Barclays' businesses including as CEO at Barclaycard Business, Personal Banking for UK & Europe, and Business Banking in the UK.
