Answer to enquiries from prospective clients’ advisers can’t help

A free tool that helps advisers signpost consumers towards assistance other than their particular advisory businesses has been launched by The Yardstick Agency.

The agency said the ‘Client Connector' tool would ensure consumers do not hit a dead end and get the support they need, even if it is not from the advice firm they initially approach.  The business explained there could be many reasons why a prospective client might "not be the right fit for the firm they first approach".  For example, if their investable assets are below the firm's minimum, or if they require specialist expertise, such as the financial implications of moving abroad.  The Yardstick Agency founder Phil Bray said: "When advisers and planners get enquiries from people...
