Avenir’s MacDonald urges advisers to look at internal processes first

Artificial intelligence (AI) is “only as good as the data you feed it” and advisers have been urged to look at the client data they have, delegates heard.

Speaking at Plannex's Elements conference today (10 July), Avenir co-founder Andrea MacDonald told advisers and paraplanners in the room that they need to think about how they interact with data. "AI is only as good as the data you feed it," she said. "You have your platforms, CRMs, back-office systems etc," MacDonald explained. "All those systems have client data that you need to work with."
