Legal & General (L&G) has become the first pension provider to complete connection to the dashboards ecosystem, the Pensions Dashboards Programme (PDP) has confirmed.

The provider finalised connection to the ecosystem today (17 April) in line with the Department for Work and Pensions' staged timetable. This comes after three volunteer participants – L&G along with Heywood and Pension Fusion – completed connection journeys last month, which the PDP said "paved the way for scheme and provider connection from April". Around 3,000 schemes and providers are in scope of dashboard legislation and must connect in stages from this month, up to October 2026.
