Investors take group action against RL360 over collapsed funds

Claim brought to Isle of Man to seek compensation for losses

A group claim is being launched against RL360 Insurance Company (RL360) over investments made through the company's products in now-collapsed funds, including Axiom Legal Financing Fund, Premier New Earth, Premier Eco Resources and LM Managed Performance fund.

The former operator of the Axiom fund, Timothy Schools, was sentenced to 14 years in prison in 2022 following a Serious Fraud Office investigation and trial at Southwark Crown Court. The claim alleges that RL360 "failed in its duties to investors" by not adequately vetting the investments it marketed and made available on its platform, resulting in investors suffering losses. The claimants, many of whom are pensioners who lost a significant quantity of their savings when the value of their investment held with RL360 collapsed, are bringing the claim in the Isle of Man to seek compensa...
