FSCS moves forward with claims against troubled Donre Advisory

London advice firm went into liquidation in July last year

The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) has moved forward with the first claims against advice firm Donre Advisory.

In an update posted on Tuesday this week (28 January), the lifeboat fund confirmed that it had completed its initial investigations into Donre Advisory and will shortly pass the claims it has received onto one of its assessment teams. "The team will contact customers as soon as they start reviewing each claim," the FSCS said. "Please note that we can't confirm exactly when we'll process any individual claim." This action from the FSCS comes after the London-based advice firm went into liquidation in July last year after the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) imposed restrictions on it....
