Whitehall Group launches commercial property-focused SIPP

SIPP available through advisers and direct to clients

Whitehall Group has launched a self-invested personal pension (SIPP) focused on commercial property alongside standard assets.

The provider said the newly launched SIPP, available through advisers and directly to consumers, returns to the original purpose of the pensions wrapper – true self-investment. Whitehall Group founding director Richard Mattison said the SIPP was launched due to demand from IFA introducers and following the introduction of Consumer Duty. He said Consumer Duty had given both advisers and providers "clarity over the necessity of using specific - perhaps even niche - products, from the whole of the market, to address each and every client's singular needs".
