The Verve Foundation reveals sponsors of new adviser student cohort

The Verve Foundation is collaborating with several firms to launch its latest cohort of students starting their journey towards gaining their diploma in regulated financial planning.

It said today (14 May) it has partnered with Intelliflo, PortfolioMetrix, First Wealth, Emery Little, Black Swan and Pentins.

Launched in 2020, the ‘We Are Change' programme provides fully funded training and qualifications to those looking to start a career in finance. It offers regular workshops, mentoring and support alongside their studies.

Firms sponsoring the initiative enable new talent to enter the profession, helping to lower the barriers of cost and lack of experience, according to The Verve Foundation.

Head Hayley Rabbets said: "Our programme operates through sponsorship from established firms and providers – we deliver the training and support, whilst they cover the costs of the examinations.

"All of the organisations mentioned have been supporting the initiative from the start and we can't thank them enough for their ongoing support, truly showing what it means to lead from the front."

Intelliflo is sponsoring half of the upcoming cohort and has supported the programme for the last three years.

Chief executive Nick Eatock said: "Our mission is to widen access to financial advice by providing advisers with technology that boosts efficiency and helps them reach new clients. But it's also about fostering career opportuni.es for the next generation of advisers and planners.

"By partnering with The Verve Foundation, we aim to increase diversity in the industry and open doors for those exploring financial careers."
