The Women in Financial Advice Awards 2023 took place this week with the event shining a light on the amazing work women across advice and financial services are doing both in their businesses, with clients and in their local communities.

Hosted by myself and the wonderful writer and comedian Lucy Porter, Professional Adviser's sparkling event in London had a great atmosphere of support and celebration of achievements which quite rightly deserve recognition. As I said on the night - what a truly great bunch of women work in financial services! Stories of selfless mentorship, supporting female clients through tough times and developing initiatives to foster the progression of younger female advisers were just some of the examples of excellence noted by the 30-strong panel of judges.
