Consolidation continues across the advice space and interest in its coverage is still catching the eye of readers.

News that a freshly launched wealth manager had joined the fray this week certainly caught the attention of PA's audience. Liberate Wealth made its entrance to the marketplace with a £200m acquisition of Yorkshire-based Ebor Financial Planning and announced big plans to make its mark in the north of England. Liberate Wealth was founded in 2022 by former EQ Investors chief executive Mark Howlett who said there had been much work behind the scenes ahead of its inaugural acquisition.
