Cost of living spurs 35% of Brits to say a planner 'would be helpful'

Findings from a Personal Finance Society poll of people across the UK

Over a third (35%) of Britons say professional financial planning would be helpful for them on the back of cost-of-living crisis pressures, according to the Personal Finance Society (PFS).

A poll commissioned by the PFS found a keen interest for financial planning and advice when ascertaining the steps being taken by the public to reduce costs. PFS president Caroline Stuart said: "At a time when anxieties are running high, professional financial planners can help people manage and organise their finances in a way which can weather the storm, ease the burden, take back control of their money and plan for the future."
