I finally ticked off one of the longest-standing tasks on my boring life admin list the other day - tracking down an old pension and transferring it to my SIPP. When I got my statement through, I was pleasantly surprised at how much was sitting in the pot. I'd only paid a fairly small amount in but my employer at the time was very generous and doubled any contributions I made.
