Market conditions shake up priorities at UK investment firms

Optimism despite multiple risks

Financial professionals across the UK and Europe expect business growth of 5% over the next year, according to Natixis Investment Managers, despite bear market corrections in the US and the poor performance of other markets over the first six months of 2022.

However, up to 72% of UK wealth managers, investment advisers, planners and broker dealers, are concerned about the investment impacts of geopolitical risk, while 68% are concerned inflation will harm returns. Natixis Investment Managers' 2022 Financial Professionals Survey spoke with 1050 financial professionals across the UK and Europe.
