Charles Stanley strengthens IHT expertise with senior appointment

Charles Stanley has hired James Rae to head up its inheritance tax (IHT) portfolio management.

Rae joined the firm's IHT team, made up of five people managing more than £470m in client assets, in July 2017. The division is tasked with delivering consistent performance in the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) to provide tax-efficient investments that allow clients to pass on their wealth to future generations, with the added potential for high growth in innovative businesses.
