Mattioli Woods completes private equity firm buyout

Mattioli Woods has completed its acquisition of Maven Capital Partners UK, a private equity and alternative asset manager, following shareholder approval.

The deal was first announced in May alongside the buyout of North West-based Ludlow Wealth Management. Maven provides investment opportunities in VCTs, private equity and property with regionally based teams across 10 offices and more than 90 investment executives and support professionals. Mattioli Woods said it was a strong cultural fit and was aligned with its strategic ambitions for growth.
