Mark Harries joins Square Mile as CIO as Broomer steps down

Ravenscroft's Mark Harries has joined Square Mile under the newly-created role of chief investment officer, PA's sister title Investment Week has revealed.

Harries, who was previously managing director and head of investment at Ravenscroft, will take responsibility for developing Square Mile's investment management services and will oversee the portfolio management team. He will also have a key role in assisting with new business generation and engaging with both existing and potential clients. He will report to CEO Richard Romer-Lee. "Mark has a very similar investment approach to the one that we have adopted on behalf of our clients, and which matches the clients with whom we work," Romer-Lee told PA's sister title Investment Week. ...
