Pensions minister issues dashboard delay warning

Schemes trying to delay the dashboard project by not collecting the necessary data will be left behind, Guy Opperman has warned.

Speaking at a Society of Pension Professionals (SPP) online conference on 15 September, the pensions and financial inclusion minister reiterated his March warning of "draconian" penalties for improperly prepared schemes. "Some in the industry are very supportive of the dashboard and others are not and are not spending the money to get their data in order," he said.
