Jupiter hires R&M's Thomas as head of UK sales

Reporting to Phil Wagstaff

Mark Thomas is joining Jupiter Asset Management from River & Mercantile Asset Management to take on the role of head of UK sales, PA's sister title Investment Week can reveal.

Thomas has spent 13 years at R&M, latterly as managing director for wholesale distribution. He also spent 13 years previously at Credit Suisse Asset Management as head of UK retail. At Jupiter, he will report to global head of distribution Phil Wagstaff, who joined the group in June after leaving Janus Henderson in 2018 together with colleague Andrew Formica, who became CEO of Jupiter.
