Tom Ellis appointed editor of Professional Adviser

Tom Ellis is to succeed Julian Marr as editor of Professional Adviser from next month.

Ellis joined Professional Adviser three years ago as a reporter and has worked his way up the ladder under the mentorship of outgoing editor Marr. Mainly covering the technology, platform and regulation beats over the last few years and currently the magazine's news editor, he recently launched The Pro Adviser Podcast. Ellis will succeed Marr, PA's editor since March 2016, on August 19. Ellis said: "I'm honoured to be taking over as editor of PA.
