Jim Stride to retire after 33 years running Axa Distribution

Jim Stride is set to retire from Axa Investment Managers this month after 33 years at the helm of the £892m Axa Distribution fund and 41 years in asset management.

The entire Axa Distribution fund range will be taken over fully by Jamie Forbes-Wilson and Matthew Huddart, who have been co-managers on the Distribution range with Stride (pictured) since February 2016. Forbes-Wilson joined Axa IM in 2003 and has managed the Axa Framlington Blue Chip Equity Income fund since inception. Huddart joined the UK equities desk in 2000 and became co-manager of the Axa Ethical Distribution fund and Axa Defensive Distribution fund in February 2016.
