SLI hires Aberdeen AM's Struthers for head of investment role

Standard Life Investments has hired Archie Struthers as head of investments, replacing Bill Lambert who retires after 27 years in the industry.

Struthers (pictured) will join SLI from Aberdeen Asset Management where he worked as global head of investment solutions and will start at SLI on 9 January, reporting to chief investment officer Rod Paris. His role will involve responsibility for investment governance, the investment operating platform, MyFolio and derivatives counter-party management.   Lambert, who worked as head of investment process and director of investment governance, will be retiring on 31 March 2017 following 13 years at SLI and will work with Struthers to ensure a smooth transition.  Prior to joining S...
