NEST names Helen Dean as chief executive

Helen Dean has been appointed chief executive of the National Employment Savings Trust (NEST) and will take over from Tim Jones in the autumn.

She is currently NEST's executive director for product and marketing. Dean has been a permanent member of the NEST team since 2014 and first came to the organisation on secondment from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). During her 30 years as a senior civil servant she worked in pension policy, having responsibility for the informed choice initiative and later for developing the policy that laid the groundwork for NEST.
