Polar Capital hires ex-AXA healthcare manager Donnigan

Polar Capital has hired Deane Donnigan and David Pinniger to work within it healthcare team in an effort to increase the range of the group's healthcare investment products.

Donnigan, who previously worked at AXA Investment Managers, has joined the team after taking time out following maternity leave. She has been involved with Polar's healthcare franchise since the start of the year, covering for Anna Sizova, who was also on maternity leave, but has now been hired full time. Donnigan built up her reputation while at AXA Investment Managers, managing the Framlington Healthcare and Biotechnology funds in the UK.
