Vanguard extends ETF range

Vanguard Asset Management has launched four Irish-domiciled ETFs with total expense ratios (TERs) ranging from 0.15% to 0.29%, taking its range listed on the London Stock Exchange to nine.

The range, comprising the FTSE Developed Europe, FTSE Developed Asia Pacific ex Japan, FTSE Japan and FTSE All-World High Dividend Yield ETFs, began trading on 22 May. Vanguard head of product international Axel Lomholt said: "ETFs are growing in popularity in Europe and our experience in other markets suggests that this trend will continue. "In the US, [Vanguard] has been very successful in this area, gathering nearly $290bn of assets since its first ETF launch in 2001.
