Guernsey signs DTA with Qatar

The double taxation agreement (DTA) between Guernsey and Qatar signals another important step in expanding the Island's business base in the Middle East.

This latest agreement brings Guernsey’s total number of DTAs to 17. Guernsey says this latest agreement with Qatar represents another important step in the Island expanding the business base of its finance industry. “We have been actively promoting Guernsey’s financial services offering within the Middle East for several years and more recently a number of the Island’s firms have established offices in the region,” says Fiona le Poidevin, CEO of Guernsey Finance.
