Tenet saves Merchant House advisers

Tenet Group has said it will save the 70 advisers affected by Merchant House Financial Services (MHFS) being put into administration.

Leeds-based Tenet has acquired certain business assets of MHFS and intends to transfer all the company's advisers into its 'Aspire Financial Management Limited' in-house appointed representative firm. The move affects about 70 MHFS advisers, who will now be able to carry on trading. Managing director of TenetConnect and TenetSelect, Mike O'Brien, said: "Our main priority was to ensure continuity for customers, the advisers and a small number of staff who will also transfer to Tenet."
