Openwork links advisers to own funds from 2013

Openwork, the multi-tied network, will make the majority of its advisers use its distributor influenced funds Omnis Investments from 2013.

Currently the network allows advisers to use an investment panel of 35 fund groups. Openwork said not all advisers will be mandated to use Omnis - some will have a wider choice of investment options. Philip Martin, proposition and marketing director, Openwork, said: "Key for us is to deliver high-quality asset management at an appropriate price. "Omnis' scale means we can offer funds more cheaply than the wider market, ensuring customers get a better deal and our advisers have a compelling proposition to offer them."
