So, what will Osborne announce today? The outlook is expected to be bleak, with Osborne set to say austerity measures will be extended into 2018 - missing his target of ending the austerity drive before the net election. It is thought the government will not move to introduce a "mansion tax" but the wealthy will be targeted. Annual contributions into pensions are expected to be reduced significantly. The FT reported last week that officials said moves to reduce tax relief available for wealthier voters on their pensions were "on the table". Osborne is also under pressure to come...
