AWD Chase de Vere to rebrand but UK jobs safe

National AWD Chase de Vere is to be rebranded as Chase de Vere as parent company Swiss Life has said it will drop the AWD part of its brand.

Swiss Life said today that it is scrapping the AWD part of the brand in favour of 'Swiss Life Select'. The rebrand is part of a company-wide restructure that will see a total of 300 to 400 jobs lost in Germany and Switzerland over the next three years. In Switzerland, there will be a reduction of about 90 jobs. There will be no job losses in the UK. At the annual general meeting, to be held today, the board of directors will propose three new board members and an unchanged dividend of CHF 4.50 per share as part of the restructure.
