Hargreaves calls in consultants to review technology options

Direct-to-consumer platform giant Hargreaves Lansdown has called in external consultants to review its proposition and assess what technology could be added in future to enhance the service.

The group - which earlier today revealed it had seen record revenues of £68.7m in the last quarter - is looking at what enhancements it can make to its back office in order to keep the platform ahead of competitors. The company has already carried out a project to review the future sustainability of the platform, and Ian Gorham, chief executive of Hargreaves, said the latest project was assessing what additional technology could be introduced.
