Prudential rejigs Dynamic Portfolio holdings

Prudential has dropped funds including Richard Buxton's Schroder UK Alpha Plus fund from its Dynamic Portfolio range in a move to diversify UK equity risk.

Prudential's investment director Andy Brown said the five Dynamic Portfolio funds are in the process of jettisoning Buxton's £2.8bn fund, as well as David Docherty's Cazenove UK Growth & Income fund. Brown added Prudential is also exiting positions in BlackRock's UK fund, previously run by Mark Lyttleton until it was handed over to deputy Nick Little in February. In their place, Prudential is adding exposure to Adrian Frost and Adrian Gosden's Artemis Income fund, as well as Simon Brazier's Threadneedle UK fund, and Nigel Thomas' AXA Framlington UK Select Opportunities portfolio.
