BlackRock launches adviser transition tool on Aegon platform

BlackRock is set to launch its online Retail Distribution Review (RDR) tool for advisers on the Aegon platform.

Ali Bernat, vice president in BlackRock's value-add team, said the group was also in talks with other platforms to make the tool available on them.  The tool, which is also available on BlackRock's website, is designed to help advisers transition their business to a fee-based model so it is RDR compliant. "There is a lot of theory and news out there but advisers need to be able to individualise it for their business," Bernat said.
