PFS to honour paraplanners at Chartered awards

The Personal Finance Society (PFS) has added a new category to its Chartered Awards 2012 - Paraplanner of the Year.

The professional body introduced a qualification for paraplanners - the Level 4 Certificate in Paraplanning - earlier this year. The new award was established to "acknowledge and honour the commitment of paraplanners' to maintain high professional standards", the PFS said. It joins the six categories already on the awards list, including Chartered Financial Planner of the Year and the John Ellis Award (for significant controbution to professional development).
